(More customer reviews)The packets are great to use along with this system of sinus rinsing. They are easier than mixing your own which I have done for the past year. It's a lot more expensive though. So to save money you could use the packets just for travel or when you are in a hurry. The correct proportions for do it yourself though are: 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. baking soda to 8 oz of water. That mixture will not burn nor will these handy premixed packets. I also love the squirt bottle system that Neilmed has. It does a good job and helps me have fewer sinus infections when I do it twice a day.
