(More customer reviews)I agree with the other reviewer that you COULD make your own solution with salt and baking soda. But I use the netti pot every morning. Who has time for that? I only use part of each packet every morning; I can usually get four uses out of one pack. But then again, I don't completely fill up the entire netti pot. You don't need that much liquid for one nose.
The netti pot has helped my allergies tremendously. I am a medical professional, and only tried the netti pot after learning about it in a Continuing Education seminar. If there ever was a secret drug companies didn't want you to know, it would be the netti pot. Peer reviewed studies in major medical journals have seen sinus infection rates decrease by 50%. Both allergies and asthma are helped by the use of the netti pot. The reason I use it every day is that I notice more allergy symptoms after I haven't used it for a few days. It's a short two minute hassle that results in hours of better quality life.
